BPG (GRP) Junction Box

The BPG range comprises 16 sizes of enclosure manufactured in glass reinforced polyester or a carbon loaded anti-static GRP (BPGC). The BPG and BPGC enclosures are suitable for use in hazardous areas, specifically ATEX and IECEx Ex ‘e’ (Zone 1 & 2), EEx ‘nA’ (Zone 2) and CSA, UL & FM (Class 1, Div 2). The BPG junction box has excellent ingress protection qualities (IP66/67 and Type 4X) due to the enclosure’s labyrinth seal system, whereby the seal is protected from the external environment. The mounting holes, although contained within the profile of the enclosure, are also designed to sit outside the seal maintaining its integrity. The BPG range can be supplied fitted with any component approved terminal to apparatus level or can be supplied empty as component approved.

SX (Stainless Steel) Junction Box

The SX junction box range comprises 14 sizes of enclosure manufactured in 316 stainless steel for maximum environmental resistance. The SX range features a high level of ingress protection (IP66/67) and Type 4X. Depending on the enclosure size they are available in standard depths of 140, 200 or 300mm and can be fitted with removable gland plates on any or all of the four sides. Cable entries can be drilled in the sides or through the gland plates, if fitted, or through the enclosure wall. Entries may also be drilled through the rear face of the enclosure. For industrial non-hazardous use the ambient range is -60°C to 200°C. A mild steel version (MSX) is also available and can be supplied with a number of paint options (most RAL colours available) and anti corrosion finishes.

HVJB (Stainless Steel) High Voltage Junction Box

The latest in the high voltage range offering enhanced flexibility over the choice of cables, entries and cable terminations. The HVJB can accept up to 4 phase connections either straight through or bottom entry only. The unit can accommodate up to three connectors per phase. The HVJB range is suitable for up to 11kV and 980A and features a 45kA for 0.2 second fault rating. The HVJB is fully ATEX and IECEx compliant, suitable for Zone 1 & 2 Gas and Dust environments. The range is also Class I Division 2 and GOST-R certified. There is also a 15kV restricted breathing option (ATEX only). The standard HVJB enclosure is manufactured from 316L stainless steel (EN 1.4404) with a silicon gasket and stainless steel fasteners. The enclosure also features heavy duty machined hinges with lift off cover pad-lockable cover. It has an orbital finish but painted and electro-polished options also available. The IP66/67 enclosure is also DTS-01 deluge and Type 4X tested. Its wide ambient range also makes it ideally suited for low temperature applications.
